Villa Torricella

Landing in Capri, you immediately notice a large Moorish tower that emerges from the vegetation and overlooks the Marina. Once that was the extravagant home of Kate Perry and Saidee Wolcott.

Perfect example of eclectic style, with arabesque decorations, towers and turrets, mullioned windows and Moorish battlements, all mixed with something Gothic and Renaissance. In a cypress grove, in the upper part of the garden they built a small temple dedicated to Vesta, at the suggestion of Count Fersen, their friend and habitual guest of the villa.
